Rig-stable floor structure
Floors are attached to the derrick framework and are suspended with chains. In addition, the rig-up and rig-down processes are simple and safe to accomplish utilizing the hydraulic mast.
Avoids operations under suspended load
The automated top drive traveling system replaces a conventional workover rig’s drawworks, brake system, and suspended blocks that lift and swivel drill pipe up and down. Instead, bales and elevators attached to the top drive are hydraulically controlled, keeping Hybrid’s workers on a more comfortable working floor level.
Centralized control room
With operators in a central location, called the doghouse, we can monitor drill out parameters around the clock. In addition, we can control and monitor torques, WOB (weight on bits), and pressure more precisely.
Reduces risk of injury and death
Pump controls and the hydraulic choke system prevent workers from operating over high pressure lines. The Hybrid drill out process and completion unit require far less hands to perform the work, which is a proactive safety measure because exposure points are reduced.
